Position Overview

Affirmed Home Care is seeking a compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to provide one-on-one skilled nursing care for a pediatric client in West New York, NJ. This is an excellent opportunity for an RN who enjoys pediatric nursing and wants to make a meaningful difference while providing individualized care in a supportive home setting.

We have an immediate weekend opening with a flexible schedule. Work either one 16-hour shift (7:00 AM–11:00 PM) or two 8-hour shifts on Saturday and Sunday . Join a supportive pediatric team that is committed to your success.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one skilled nursing care for a pediatric client
• Monitor the child's health, comfort, and safety throughout the shift
• Collaborate with the family and clinical team to provide exceptional care
• Accurately document all care provided

Schedule

• Saturday and Sunday
• Option 1: One 16-hour shift (7:00 AM–11:00 PM)
• Option 2: Two 8-hour shifts
• Consistent weekend schedule

Pay

• RN: $45/hour

Qualifications

• Active New Jersey RN License
• Preferred: 1 year of pediatric experience in home care or acute care
• Current BLS Certification
• Authorized to work in the United States
• Valid driver's license preferred
• Physical exam completed within the past 12 months
• PPD or QuantiFERON completed within the past year (or chest X-ray within the past 5 years)
• Proof of MMR immunization within the past 10 years
• Proof of influenza vaccination or approved medical exemption
