Salesforce Architect

One of our client in the government domain is seeking an experienced Salesforce Architect to lead the design, development, integration, and ongoing enhancement of Salesforce solutions. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Salesforce architecture, configuration, customization, and third-party integrations, along with hands-on experience in Lightning Components, Apex development, Experience Cloud, and enterprise integration technologies. This role will work closely with business stakeholders and technical teams to deliver scalable, secure, and efficient Salesforce solutions that support organizational goals and continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Partner with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate business needs into Salesforce solutions.
• Lead Salesforce projects through the full lifecycle, including requirements analysis, architecture, design, development, testing, deployment, and post-production support.
• Design, develop, and maintain scalable Salesforce applications using Apex, Lightning Aura Components, Flows, Process Builder, and other Salesforce technologies.
• Configure and enhance Salesforce functionality, workflows, automation processes, reports, dashboards, and security settings.
• Design and manage Salesforce Experience Cloud (Community Cloud) sites.
• Create Salesforce forms and offline data collection solutions using Survey123 or similar Salesforce-native tools.
• Develop and maintain custom reports, dashboards, and executive-level reporting solutions.
• Support user acceptance testing (UAT), develop test plans and test cases, and validate results against business requirements.
• Create technical documentation, user guides, training materials, and system process documentation.
• Mentor and train internal development teams on Salesforce best practices and solution design.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements, automation, and operational efficiencies.

Required Skills

• Strong experience designing and implementing enterprise Salesforce solutions.
• Expertise in Salesforce configuration, customization, and application development.
• Hands-on experience with Apex, Lightning Components, Force.com APIs, and Salesforce automation tools.
• Experience developing and supporting Experience Cloud (Community Cloud) portals.
• Strong understanding of Salesforce release management, sandbox environments, and deployment practices.
• Experience integrating Salesforce with internal and external systems using APIs, ETL tools, and MuleSoft.
• Ability to troubleshoot application issues, resolve integration failures, and manage exception logs.
• Experience with Salesforce reporting, dashboards, and data management best practices.
• Strong documentation, communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Salesforce Architect or advanced Salesforce certifications.
• Experience migrating legacy systems and business processes into Salesforce.
• Knowledge of enterprise integration architecture and data migration strategies.
• Experience creating executive dashboards and complex reporting solutions.
• Ability to mentor developers and provide technical leadership across Salesforce initiatives.
