Business/Data Analyst

Open to Remote Rate: $50-$65

Role: Business/Data Analyst Minneapolis, MN (Remote)

Business Analyst experience

Corporate Finance Planning and Analysis (FP&A) along with Profit and Loss (P&L) domain experience preferably in Manufacturing Industry

Power BI experience as a user

Must have experience as part of a BI/Datawarehouse team

SQL Skills will be nice to have

Must-Have Primary Skills

Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Experience in Business Requirements Gathering and Documentation
Experience in SQL. Strong SQL Skills
Experience in Data Mapping
Experience in Data Analysis
Experience in Power BI Reporting & Visualization
Experience in Validation
Knowledge of Finance Accounting – Profit and Loss
Understanding of Snowflake

Secondary Skills

Experience in Manufacturing Corporate Finance
Experience in SAP, Salesforce, Workday Data Sources

Experience Needed

Business Analyst experience

Job Description

Collaborate closely with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into data solutions

Communicate findings, risks, and recommendations clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences

Interact with business with an understanding of corporate accounting principles, including Profit & Loss and Experience working with financial data

Understand the business requirements and identify the data source required for building the reports/KPIs

Perform data analysis and data mapping in order to meet business requirements

Run Power BI reports and validate the data for accuracy and completeness

In the absence of Power BI reports, run SQL queries to query the data from Snowflake or other source systems
