Controller

Overview Carolina PRG has partnered with a global, technology‑driven manufacturing organization with U.S. operations based in Charlotte on a confidential search for a Controller. This role leads all core accounting operations, ensures the accuracy and integrity of financial reporting, and serves as a strategic partner to senior leadership. The ideal candidate is a hands‑on leader with strong manufacturing accounting experience and a proven ability to drive accuracy, efficiency, and continuous improvement across the organization. Responsibilities Provide leadership that promotes collaboration, accountability, and a high‑performance culture across the department. Lead the monthly close process and ensure timely preparation of financial statements. Develop and deliver monthly financial reporting packages for executive leadership and global stakeholders. Ensure compliance with US GAAP and company accounting policies. Manage banking relationships and oversee treasury activities to ensure effective cash management. Interface with external partners including banks, auditors, lessors, and service providers. Direct and manage the accounting team, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and reporting. Establish and maintain strong internal controls, ensuring accurate and timely recording of all transactions. Identify opportunities to streamline processes, enhance reporting capabilities, and strengthen internal controls. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required; CPA strongly preferred. Minimum of 8 years of accounting experience, including managerial responsibility. Prior experience in a manufacturing or product‑based environment. Strong understanding of complex accounting topics and US GAAP. Exceptional communication skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and solid working knowledge of other Microsoft Office tools. #J-18808-Ljbffr
