What This Role Really Is

This is a retail, in-home closing position.

You are not simply dropping off estimates and hoping customers call back.

You will:

• Inspect roofs and identify homeowner needs
• Meet with homeowners in their homes
• Present Good / Better / Best solutions
• Explain products, pricing, financing, and warranties
• Build trust through education and professionalism
• Create ethical urgency
• Ask for the sale clearly and confidently
• Follow up with purpose when needed

Most opportunities close on the first appointment, but disciplined follow-up is expected and tracked.

A Typical Day

• Run scheduled appointments
• Perform roof inspections
• Meet homeowners and present solutions
• Build estimates and financing options
• Follow up on active opportunities
• Update CRM notes and next steps
• Coordinate with production and office staff to ensure a great customer experience

What You'll Do

• Conduct residential roofing consultations and inspections
• Build estimates using company software
• Present roofing solutions and financing options
• Close residential roofing projects
• Collect deposits and required customer documentation in accordance with company procedures
• Manage your sales pipeline with discipline and accuracy
• Maintain customer relationships throughout the sales process
• Collaborate with production and operations teams to ensure successful project execution
• Develop referral, networking, and canvassing opportunities to support personal sales growth

Who Thrives Here

• 1+ year of outside sales, in-home sales, or commission-based sales experience preferred
• Experience in roofing, solar, HVAC, windows, pest control, alarms, or home improvement is a plus
• Comfortable climbing ladders and working around job sites
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
• Confident discussing pricing and asking for the sale
• Coachable, accountable, and self-motivated
• Competitive with yourself and committed to improvement

Compensation & Benefits

Compensation Structure

This position begins with a structured paid training program designed to help you learn our products, systems, and sales process.

Following training, advisors transition into a commission-based compensation structure with uncapped earning potential.

Earnings Potential

Sign-On Bonus

A $1,000 sign-on bonus will be paid after 90 days of employment provided the employee:

• Remains actively employed
• Maintains acceptable attendance
• Remains in good standing with company policies and procedures

Requirements

• Valid driver's license
• Ability to maintain an insurable driving record
• Ability to pass a background check
• Ability to pass a drug screening
• Ability to climb ladders and perform roof inspections
• Reliable transportation
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
