Exercise Specialist We are looking to hire an Exercise Specialist at MercyOne Genesis to provide care by offering a variety of exercises and education to improve the patient’s functional capacity and psychosocial status in consistency with the Standards of American Association of Cardiovascular and Pulmonary Rehabilitation. Responsibilities Provide care by offering a variety of exercises and education to improve the patient’s functional capacity and psychosocial status. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Physiology (Master’s preferred). ACSM certification (or coursework preparing for certification) if not holding a master’s degree. Basic Life Support certification within 6 months of hire. No previous experience required. Schedule & Compensation 32 hours per week. Pay scale: $21.79–$32.68 per hour, actual compensation may vary based on experience, qualifications, education, location, licensure, certification requirements, and internal equity.
