Inpatient Pharmacist
This role involves working a schedule of 7 days on and 7 days off. The first phase will include approximately 30-60 days of night shift. Subsequently, the position will transition to day shift, following the same rotation schedule. The pharmacist may be required to float between units. No on-call or additional weekend shifts are mandatory, but weekend coverage is expected every other weekend. The candidate must have experience with high-alert medications, clinical dosing, and pediatric dosing. Specialized skills in areas such as anticoagulation therapy, chemotherapy, and infectious disease management are important. It is essential that the candidate is comfortable with inpatient acute care settings. References will be required as part of the compliance process prior to the start of employment. It is essential to maintain communication regarding scheduling and any required coordination during the assignment.
