Registered Nurse - Medical Surgical Unit

Location: Gallatin, TN

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: Shift: 18:45 - 07:15. Weekly guaranteed hours: 36. Weekend hours: Every other/as needed.

Job Description: The Registered Nurse (RN) will provide quality healthcare services in the Medical Surgical unit. The role includes administering medications, monitoring patient progress, and collaborating with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient care.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct patient care in a Medical Surgical environment.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions and responses to treatment.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans.
• Educate patients and families on care and treatment plans.
• Perform IV insertions and manage intravenous therapy.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Minimum of 1 year of Medical Surgical/Tele experience.
• Current Registered Nurse license in Tennessee.
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIH.
• Completion of state-specific checks including Tennessee Abuse Registry.
