Salary Range: $49,000 - $70,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

We are collaborating with manufacturing firms in Coopersville that are seeking skilled Bookkeepers. These organizations are dedicated to maintaining high standards and are looking for professionals who can contribute effectively. Key Responsibilities

• Process accounts payable and ensure timely vendor payments.
• Manage accounts receivable, including invoicing and collection efforts.
• Reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts monthly.
• Prepare journal entries and maintain accurate financial records.
• Assist with month-end and year-end close processes.
• Support external audits by providing requested documentation.
• Track inventory movements and reconcile physical counts with system records.

Recommended Qualifications

• Proven experience with double-entry bookkeeping and generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP).
• Proficiency in using ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite) for financial transactions and reporting.
• Strong understanding of cost accounting principles relevant to a manufacturing environment (e.g., inventory valuation, standard costing, variance analysis).
• Demonstrated ability to manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll processes accurately and efficiently.
• Experience with month-end and year-end close procedures, including reconciliations and financial statement preparation.
