The Bartender at Mallards is responsible for delivering exceptional customer service while preparing and serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in a professional, safe, and upscale environment. This position plays a key role in creating welcoming guest experience while maintaining compliance with all applicable Florida alcohol laws, company policies, and safety standards.

The ideal candidate is dependable, professional, personable, detail-oriented, and capable of working in a fast-paced hospitality environment while representing the Mallards brand with professionalism and integrity.

Key Responsibilities (include but are not limited to):

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to company standards 
• Verify guest identification and ensure compliance with all alcohol service laws and regulations 
• Provide outstanding customer service to all guests and members 
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar, lounge, and service areas 
• Restock liquor, beer, wine, mixers, garnishes, and bar supplies as needed 
• Operate point-of-sale (POS) systems accurately and efficiently 
• Handle cash, credit card transactions, tabs, and receipts responsibly 
• Monitor guest behavior and notify management of any safety or compliance concerns 
• Maintain knowledge of drink menus, specials, and promotional events 
• Assist with lounge setup, breakdown, and special events 
• Ensure all glassware, utensils, and equipment are properly cleaned and maintained 
• Follow all company safety, sanitation, and responsible alcohol service procedures 
• Work collaboratively with management and other team members 
• Perform additional duties as assigned by management

Qualifications:

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous bartender experience preferred but not required.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Basic knowledge of beer, liquor, wine, and non-alcoholic beverages.
• Reliable, punctual, and detail oriented.
• Basic math and computer skills required.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Must pass a background check and drug test.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand for extended periods of time.
• Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs occasionally.
• Ability to bend, reach, and handle routine bar duties.
