Keep lines from forming at the door. Answer incoming reservation calls. Maintain a clean and organized front desk area, lobby, and dining room. Complete reservations in the computerized reservation system. Keep abreast of all food & beverage venues and menus. Complete assigned opening, ongoing, and closing sidework Greet guests in a warm and friendly manner. Answer the telephone and facilitate guest requests. Notify Manager of all guest complaints Using the table management system, manage incoming reservations and venue floor. Conduct restroom checks Knows our menu as well as servers. Assist with daily administrative work as per direction of the manager. Performs any and all other duties as assigned. Requirements Prior related experience preferred. Reliable transportation to and from work. Ability to communicate effectively in English with guests as well as all levels of employees in both verbal and written form in a professional manner. Ability to manipulate the MICROS POS system and accurately input orders and post transactions. Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to provide direction in a fast-paced environment; manage time effectively and work well in a team environment. Must possess excellent customer relations, sales, & communication skills. Must possess at all times during employment a valid Washington State Department of Health Food Handler permit. A desire to learn, grow, and a passion for progress in this career. Physical demands and work environment: While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk and use hands to perform essential job functions. The employee must regularly lift and /or move up to 25 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 35 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
