As a team member with Lakeview Terrace, you will provide services to our residents that call LVT home. Facility Name and Address: 200 Clubhouse Vista Road Altoona, FL 32702 Purpose: The Resident Life Assistant supports the Resident Life and Fitness Coordinators in planning, executing, and maintaining community programs and activities. This role includes managing supplies, maintaining equipment, and ensuring resident involvement. The position provides technology support and ensures compliance with regulations and involves completing required trainings and adhering to the budget. The Resident Life Assistant supports the Resident Life and Fitness Coordinators in planning, executing, and maintaining community programs and activities. Assist Resident Life Coordinator and Fitness Coordinator with the planning and purchasing of supplies for each department while adhering to the budget. Assist Resident Life Coordinator in the planning of the Resident Life Program by acquiring input and communicating Resident requests. Assist Resident Life Coordinator with the implementation of the Resident Life Program in the multiple areas within the community (i.e. Wellness Center, Clubhouse, and Community Building). Assist Resident Life Coordinator with involving residents in the planning, implementation and evaluation of the Resident Life Program. (i.e. Resident's Council). Assist Resident Life Coordinator with the maintenance of all program equipment and supplies. Assist Resident Life Coordinator with the execution of all Resident Life Programs. Assist Fitness Coordinator with wellness related programs that do not require fitness training (i.e., Wii Bowling, Corn Hole Tournaments, Golf related programming). Assist Fitness Coordinator with the maintenance of all fitness equipment and supplies. Attend all required in-services and trainings, including All Staff Meetings. Complete course modules in the training program by specified due dates. Assist Resident Life Coordinator and Fitness Coordinator with providing residents with technology instruction and support, i.e. streaming television, computer meetings/appointments and smart phone use. Ensure compliance with all federal and state rules and regulations. Complete other duties as assigned by supervisor. Required Qualification: High School Diploma/GED required Two (2) years experience with geriatrics required. Must be a minimum of 21 years old, hold a valid Florida driver’s license and maintain a safe driving record. Must be self-motivated and work well independently. Preferred Qualifications: Associates Degree preferred. Four (4) years' experience with geriatrics preferred. Servsafe certification preferred.
