Job Summary Bahnson Mechanical Systems has utilized its extensive mechanical engineering and construction experience to solve our client's most challenging problems for over 110 years. Bahnson Mechanical Systems is seeking a Sheetmetal Foreman who will have extensive commercial experience to lead our team on various projects. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise in sheet metal work, be proficient in reading blueprints, and have the leadership skills necessary to guide the team effectively. Key Duties Oversee and coordinate installations on commercial job sites, ensuring projects meet company quality and safety standards Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and project specifications to guide installation procedure Utilize 2‑D and 3‑D modeling software to review and understand models/BIM drawings Collaborate closely with Superintendents and Project Managers to ensure timelines and budget goals are met Conduct inspections and quality checks to ensure installations meet industry and company standards Compile lists of material, equipment needed and maintain assigned tools and issue safety equipment for job site Lead, supervise, train and support crew members on projects as required while maintaining high productivity and morale Monitor jobsite to ensure a safe work environment and report any safety violations to safety supervisor Other duties may be assigned as needed Preferred Qualifications 5+ years of industrial sheet‑metal experience 3+ years of leading construction teams Experience with supervising and performing installation of sheet metal, duct systems, piping systems, and refrigeration projects Experience with the following systems: mechanical, refrigeration, steam, and condensate Must have a valid driver's license with insurable driving record Previous use of electrical and manual tools required Experience operating safety equipment and use of safe construction work habits Experience leading and working in a team environment with high safety and quality standards Ability to take on additional responsibilities as needed as well as determine and manage priorities with minimal guidance Strong mechanical aptitude with openness and ability to learn Bilingual Spanish/English a plus Benefits Bahnson offers high‑quality employee benefits that start the 1st day of the month after your start date!
