Certified Respiratory Therapist

Overview Department: Respiratory Therapy Facility: Resurrection Medical Center Location: 7435 W Talcott Ave, Chicago, IL 60631 Schedule: 12-hour nights, non-exempt Sign-On Bonus: $15,000.00 Responsibilities Provide respiratory care and pulmonary therapy per physician orders Manage mechanical ventilation, oxygen therapy, aerosol treatments, and airway management Perform and interpret arterial blood gas (ABG) analysis Conduct pulmonary diagnostic procedures and patient assessments Implement patient-specific care plans Document patient care, interventions, and outcomes accurately Serve as Lead RCP in the absence of a supervisor Respond to critical care situations and emergencies Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams Qualifications State Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) License required Current BCLS (AHA) certificate upon hire and maintain current 2 years experience as a RCP preferred ACLS certificate within 60 days of hire and maintain current NRP certificate preferred PALS certificate within 60 days of hire and maintain current Associate Degree or Bachelor of Science degree preferred High School Diploma or equivalent is required Employment Status Full Time Shift Nights Pay Transparency Resurrection Medical Center offers competitive compensation and a comprehensive benefits package that provides employees the flexibility to tailor benefits according to their individual needs. A reasonable compensation estimate for this role, which includes estimated wages, benefits, and other forms of compensation, is $33.50 to $45.09. The exact compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.
