Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor's Degree Pharmacy Required Or Other Pharm.D. Required And Other - CLIAFE Must comply with CLIA regulations regarding foreign education equivalency Required
• Experience: None required and 3 Years hospital experience or residency Preferred
• Licenses and Certifications: PHAR - Pharmacist Upon Hire Required

What You Will Do:

• Communicating effectively, building positive professional relationships and role modeling teamwork.
• Timely and accurate support of medication distribution including medication order verification and oversight of pharmacy technician responsibilities.
• Provision of clinical pharmacy services for the safe and efficient patient care.
• Ensuring the accuracy of one's own work as well as maintaining required competencies and other documentation.
• Consistent support of the department's quality improvement and patient safety standards programs and initiatives is also required.
• Ongoing professional development and growth.
• Not only the management of one's own time but shares the responsibility for minimizing pharmaceutical costs (including wastage) and discovering new process efficiencies.
• Respond to medical emergencies per hospital policy as available.
• Other duties as assigned.
