Job Summary

Lake Sherwood Village is seeking a reliable and motivated Line / Production Cook to join our kitchen team. This position is responsible for preparing high-quality meals for our residents in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. The ideal candidate takes pride in their work, maintains high standards of cleanliness, and works efficiently during service.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and standards
Assist with daily food prep and production
Be responsible for food production for approximately 130 residents for breakfast and lunch on a rotating every-other-week schedule
Maintain a clean and organized workstation
Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines
Work efficiently during meal service to ensure timely delivery
Assist with inventory, stocking, and food storage
Support kitchen team and communicate effectively with staff

Qualifications

Previous cooking or kitchen experience preferred
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Strong attention to detail and consistency
Knowledge of food safety practices
Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 40 lbs
Team-oriented with a positive attitude
