Registered Nurse (RN) - PCU

Travel Registered Nurse (RN) - PCU

Schedule: Scheduled 36 hours per week following first week of orientation. No guarantee of hours.

Assignment Details:

• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Guaranteed Hours: Not guaranteed

Requirements:

• Active state of HI license required by start of assignment.
• At least 1 year of hospital acute care experience within the last year.
• Progressive care and telemetry experience preferred.
• ACLS preferred, current PALS preferred, NIHSS certification preferred.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Provide primary nursing care for patients in a progressive care unit.
• Monitor telemetry and perform telemetry strip reading.
• Conduct fingerstick blood sugar tests.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Float to other acute units as needed, including medical, surgical, pediatric, ICU, and ER.

Compliance / Notes:

• Must arrive the Thursday before start to attend the employee health appointment on Friday.
• Dress code: Scrubs.
