Job Description – Certified Sterile Processing Technician (CSPDT)

We are seeking an experienced Certified Sterile Processing Technician (CSPDT) to support the Operating Room by ensuring surgical instruments and medical equipment are properly cleaned, disinfected, assembled, sterilized, and distributed. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, knowledgeable in sterile processing standards, and committed to maintaining patient safety and infection prevention practices.

• Minimum 2 years of Sterile Processing experience in an acute care setting.
• Current Certified Sterile Processing Technician (CSPDT) certification through CBSPD .
• Current BLS Certification (AHA) .
• Strong knowledge of sterilization methods, decontamination procedures, and infection control practices.
• Experience handling, assembling, and maintaining surgical instrumentation.
• Ability to prioritize workload and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Willingness to participate in the required on-call rotation.
