We are seeking a professional and skilled Dispatcher to join our team. This will be for the dayshift dispatch position. The ideal candidate is highly organized with the ability to multi-task and work well under pressure. Responsibilities
- Monitor drivers working hours and equipment availability
- Coordinate and manage the most efficient loads to remain cost-effective
- Scheduling pick ups and drop offs
- Answering emails and phone calls pertaining to loads
- Proactively address problems and suggest solutions
- Scanning in POD's
- High school diploma/GED
- Previous experience as a Dispatcher or in a similar position
- Excellent typing and data entry skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Highly organized with the ability to multitask and prioritize projects
- Ability to work well under pressure
