Shift Leader

Shift Leader Location: Chesterfield or Roseville, New Jersey. Responsibilities Coaching staff to deliver excellent customer service. Producing high quality food and delivering the Jersey Mike’s experience. Cash handling and following the Learning Management System training program. Developing others for career growth, enforcing policies and procedures. Participating in local and national marketing initiatives and building sales. Maintaining cleanliness and proper sanitation practices in the establishment. Certifying all four positions of the restaurant. Ensuring effective communication and a sense of urgency. Managing opening and closing of the store, including key holding, baking bread, and prep tasks. Managing and leading a crew of 2 to 5 people. Performing slicing and other food preparation tasks. Expectations Work 38–40 hours per week. Ability to get to and from work independently. Communicate any issues to the GM/AGM/DM. Lead by example in food quality, customer interaction, and daily presentation with clean, fitted, and pressed uniform. Maintain a fast‑paced, team‑driven atmosphere with multitasking and sense of urgency. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. Preferably 1 year restaurant experience.
