Ankur International is a family-owned importer and distributor of premium natural stone and quartz surfaces, serving fabricators, designers, and builders for over 35 years. We pride ourselves on quality materials, strong relationships, and a personalized customer experience.
Role Overview:
We are looking for a motivated and relationship-driven Outside Sales Representative to join our growing team. The ideal candidate has an outgoing personality, exceptional customer service and negotiation skills, a strong desire to close deals, eager to learn and is adaptable.
This is a commission-driven role , offering strong earning potential for a self-starter who is comfortable being on the road and building long-term partnerships.
Key Responsibilities:
- Visit fabricators, kitchen & bath dealers, designers, and builders regularly (4+ days/week on the road )
- Develop new business and expand existing accounts in Philly area OR North Jersey / Manhattan / Brooklyn area
- Build and maintain strong, long-term customer relationships
- Present and promote quartz and natural stone products
- Manage and update quartz sample displays at customer locations
- Follow up on leads, quotes, and ongoing projects
- Stay informed on product trends, pricing, and market activity
- Coordinate with internal team for order processing and customer support
- Work at least one Saturday per month (abbreviated hours) to support showroom activity and customer needs
Qualifications:
- Prior experience in stone, surfaces, construction, or related industry (preferred but not required)
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Self-motivated, organized, adaptable and positive attitiude
- Comfortable working independently and managing a territory
- Willingness to travel locally and be on the road most of the week
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a drive to grow income through commission
