Opportunity: Physician - Internal Medicine - Gastroenterology Job Details: * Provide advanced GI coverage including EGD, Colonoscopy, ERCP, EUS, Flex Sig, and related procedures * 24-hour coverage including call, hospital service, and inpatient/outpatient procedures * Locum coverage typically does not include clinic duties * Board certification required with minimum board certification eligibility * Fellowship training required * Required procedure skills include: Upper GI endoscopy with biopsy, foreign body removal, and cautery/fulguration; Diagnostic and therapeutic ERCP; Small bowel biopsy; Lower GI endoscopy; Flexible sigmoidoscopy; Colonoscopy with biopsy and polypectomy; Endoscopic ultrasound (EUS) * Preferred procedure skills include: Injection of varices; PEG placement; Esophageal dilation/manometry; Esophageal manometry interpretation; Rigid sigmoidoscopy; Liver biopsy; Sengstaken/Blakemore tube insertion and management * Facility is a Level 1 trauma center Facility: This is a major regional medical center and Level 1 trauma facility serving the upper Midwest.
