Physical Therapy Aide

Part Time Physical Therapy Aide opening in a private practice physical therapy clinic in Putnam, CT. We are looking for an outgoing, dependable individual to assist in the delivery of quality patient care under the direct supervision of a physical therapist while also maintaining a clean work environment. Exercise science background and/or prior PT Aide experience preferred. Applicants must be available year-round. Responsibilities Maintain a safe, clean, and efficient therapy environment and assist with patient care as directed by the clinical staff Greet all patients in a friendly and courteous manner, observe patients during treatment and report changes in a patient’s condition to clinical staff Clean treatment tables, equipment and surfaces and keep supplies stocked Requires various forms of physical effort such as standing, squatting and bending Assist with front desk duties such as answering the phone, scheduling, taking payments, etc Qualifications Exercise science background and/or prior PT Aide experience preferred Outgoing, dependable, and able to assist under supervision of a physical therapist Available year-round #J-18808-Ljbffr Physical Therapy & Sports Medicine Centers
