Job Overview Physicians who wish to establish or transition into an independently operated medical practice supported by MedCBO’s administrative infrastructure. Physicians own and operate their own practice entity, while MedCBO provides non‑clinical business and operational support services. This is a practice‑ownership opportunity, not an employment relationship. Physician Responsibilities Provide patient care within the clinical scope of cardiology Develop professional relationships within the medical community MedCBO coordinates payer credentialing as required Determine clinical services offered Manage clinical quality and patient experience Administrative Support Provided by MedCBO Practice formation coordination Billing and collections management Payer contract negotiation Financial infrastructure and reporting Operational workflows and staffing systems Technology platform and implementation Requirements MD or DO with unrestricted license in good standing in the intended state of practice Board Certified or Board Eligible in cardiology Eligible for hospital and/or facility privileges where applicable Ability to obtain professional liability coverage at standard market rates No current limitations, exclusions, or disciplinary restrictions that would prevent independent practice Interest in the independent practice model Preferred Qualifications Desire for practice ownership Interest in community‑based care Leadership or program development interest Location Multiple U.S. markets available (urban, suburban, and rural).
