Cath Lab Technician

Location: Miami, FL

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: Shift: 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM

Job Description: The Cath Lab Technician will be responsible for assisting with various procedures in the cardiac catheterization lab, ensuring the highest level of patient care and safety during procedures. This position requires proficiency in scrubbing and familiarity with specific cardiac procedures.

Responsibilities:

• Scrubbing for cardiac cath procedures, stenting, and angiograms.
• Assisting medical staff during procedures with equipment and patient care.
• Maintaining a sterile environment and adhering to safety protocols.
• Interacting with patients and their families to provide education and support.
• Documenting procedures and patient information using Meditech and MacLab.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• BLS Certification
• ACLS Certification
• RCIS or ARRT Certification preferred
