Quick Facts Location: Lancaster, CA, United States Start Date: 12/31/2025 Duration: 13 weeks (extension possible) Shift: 12-hour shifts (day/nights) Hours/week: 36-40 Employment Type: Locum Tenens Licenses/Certifications: MD/DO, California medical license (or active permit) Experience: 2+ years in obstetrics/OB hospitalist role or similar Pay & Benefits Pay Package: $195.00 per hour Weekly Pay Schedule via direct deposit Benefits: Comprehensive Medical Coverage (W-2) Paid sick time per applicable laws Licensure, certification, travel, and reimbursement when applicable Robust referral bonus program 24/7 dedicated support team at VHS What You’ll Do Provide obstetric and inpatient maternal care in a hospital setting Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure patient safety and quality care Monitor labor progress, assist with deliveries, and manage obstetric emergencies Document patient care accurately and efficiently Comply with hospital policies and state regulations Participate in on-call rotations as scheduled What You Need Required: Valid medical license in California or eligible for licensure Board certification or eligibility in OB/GYN or family medicine with obstetric experience Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in obstetrics/hospitalist roles Strong communication and teamwork skills Preferred: previous hospital-based obstetric experience ACLS/PALS certification About the Assignment Join a dedicated team at a leading facility in Lancaster, California, where your expertise in obstetrics will make a difference.
