Key Responsibilities

  • Directly engage with clients suffering from major mental illnesses and severe emotional disorders, both in-office and within community settings.
  • Participate actively as a team member, contributing to collective goals while fostering collaboration and effective communication.
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with clients, co-workers, and community partners, demonstrating integrity and respect for diverse backgrounds.
  • Conduct brief, evidence-based assessments and develop integrated care plans tailored to individual needs while ensuring a seamless exchange of information among clients, families, and service providers.
  • Deliver a spectrum of focused prevention, treatment, and recovery services that are evidenced and developmentally appropriate.
  • Assist in crisis intervention efforts, applying appropriate techniques to support clients in distress.
  • Cultivate a safe environment by identifying potential hazards and implementing safety protocols proactively.
  • Ensure timely completion of documentation, including treatment records and data submissions, while adhering to the highest standards of ethical guidelines.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute insight on improving the overall service delivery and client care experiences.

Patient Population / Client Focus

This role primarily involves working with clients who are navigating complex mental health issues and may also be dealing with substance use challenges. As a member of the detox center team, the LCSW will engage with a diverse demographic, offering culturally sensitive care to individuals at various stages of recovery. Recognizing the unique challenges faced by under-served communities, our clinicians play a crucial role in advocating for equitable access to services.

Qualifications

  • A Bachelor's Degree in Social Work (Master's preferred) with an LCSW licensure.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in a clinical social work capacity, preferably in mental health or substance use environments.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary for this position ranges from USD 70,000 to 85,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
