Property Accountant

Location: Boca Raton, FL | Schedule: Full-time, on-site Overview A large, established real estate development company is seeking a Property Accountant to join its team in a modern Boca Raton office. This role is central to managing month-end close processes, preparing financial statements, and overseeing cash management for a portfolio of properties. What you'll do Gather required information for month-end close by preparing and entering monthly journal entries, performing bank reconciliations, and maintaining cash sheets Complete balance sheet schedules to ensure accurate reporting of monthly financials and reconciliation of balance sheet accounts Reconcile monthly interest and loan balances with lender statements Prepare financial statements and supporting schedules for all entities within the assigned portfolio Manage cash activity, including initiating wire transfers and recording all cash-related transactions for the portfolio promptly Prepare bank reconciliations Review construction P&L accounts Review the property management financial statement package Prepare monthly draw requests Participate in company-provided training, including safety, anti-discrimination, information systems, and harassment prevention Adhere to all company standards, health and safety regulations, and applicable local, state, and federal laws Required qualifications 3+ years of experience in accounting and full financial statement preparation Bachelor's Degree Why this role This position offers the opportunity to manage financial operations for a portfolio of properties within one of the largest companies in the real estate development space, working from a modern office in Boca Raton. #J-18808-Ljbffr Software Placement Group, SPG
