Location: HCA HealthONE Rose, 4567 E 9th Ave, Denver, CO 80220

Unit Information:

• Number of Beds: 23 beds
• Number of Staff: approximately 80 staff members on mom/baby
• Type of staff: Day Shift 1 charge, 2-3 CNAs, 9-10 RNs on the floor, 3-4 RNs in the nursery
• Night Shift 1 charge, 9-10 RNs on the floor, 2-3 RNs in the nursery
• Patient Ratios: 3 or 4:1 - Estimated ratios, not guaranteed

Typical Hiring Profile:

• Skill Set: Most recruited for: (Travel RNs) Must have: candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role.
• Minimum 1-year current acute care hospital Postpartum/M/B experience
• BLS & NRP
• Preferred or nice to have: candidates with these skills will be considered first.
• Experience in a Mother/Baby Unit
• Flexibility with their schedule
• Ability to adapt quickly to new situations

• Monitoring vital signs and administering medications
• Managing perineal care
• Educating parents on newborn care, safety, and bonding
