Position Summary:Our Dermatology department has an opening for a full-time Medical Assistant to work with our Mohs surgeon. This role assists with Mohs micrographic surgery procedures, closures, biopsies, and other dermatologic procedures while ensuring patient safety, comfort, and efficient clinic operations. The MA serves as a key member of the surgical team by preparing patients, maintaining clean technique, assisting during procedures, providing patient education, and coordinating follow-up care.

Essential Job Functions: Prepare procedure rooms with required instruments, supplies, and equipment. Room patients and obtain vital signs and medical history. Prepare patients for Mohs surgery, biopsies, excisions, and other dermatologic procedures. Assist the physician during surgical procedures. Apply dressings and assist with wound care, suture removal, and postoperative care. Document patient care, procedures, and instructions in the electronic medical record. Restock clinical supplies as needed.

Qualifications: Medical Assisting diploma and certification Mohs/surgical tech experience preferred Knowledge of clean technique Work well in a team environment Must have organizational and computer skills

Hours:Mon through Thursday 7:30 am - 5:00 pm
