Refrigeration Service Technician

Job Description Job Description compensation: Compensation based on experience level employment type: full-time Refrigeration tech (Tampa) compensation: Compensation reflected by experience level plus incentive pay and commissions S&W refrigeration is a leading service provider for refrigeration systems; ice machines; kitchen equipment in the Tampa Bay area.Our focus is narrow -- it's providing excellence for the customer, at every turn. Job Description 1 Understand how to diagnose and repair all facets (Ice Machines and Refrigeration equipment) in an effective and efficient manner; 2 Perform planned maintenance on equipment at a level that is effective and shows the value and benefit of having a planned maintenance program in effect. 3 Identify potential service issues during maintenance to prevent equipment failure and future service calls; 4 Ability to identify design flaws and misapplication of equipment; 5 Ability to resolve unusual, troublesome, or unresolved service issues; Benefits Include: Generous Holiday, Vacation, and Sick Time EOE / Drug Free Workplace Requirements Core Competencies 1. Complete well-documented service reports through an electronic mobile device; 2. Perform tasks safely . Also, utilize the proper PPE safety gear while performing those tasks; 3. Have good verbal and written communication between the customer, the office, and other technicians; 4. Stay current with industry changes and advances by attending classes & seminars; Must be mechanically inclined; 5. Must be in proper company uniform that is clean and well maintained. Grooming must portray a professional image; 6. Maintain company truck, tools, equipment, and inventory in good condition; 7. Follow guidelines and procedures as outlined in Branch Policy/Procedure Manual; 8. Ability to review equipment to find additional repairs needed; 9. Own tools necessary to perform duties at a level of efficiency to support the current position; 10.
