As a Junior Graphic Designer, you will help create and manage the artwork and packaging for our products. Your ideas matter here: you'll brainstorm with our talented team of artists to develop fresh, eye-catching designs. On a daily basis, you will work to create seasonal style guides, set up packaging files, apply artwork to products, create attractive licensed products using style guides from licensors, coordinate mock-up samples, prepare artwork for production, organize and maintain an extensive database of artwork and photography and create collateral pieces such as brochures, posters and catalogs of product lines.

Qualifications:

• Degree in Graphic Design with a minimum of 2 years of experience in graphic design, packaging and/or product design.
• Advanced/Expert knowledge of Illustrator and Photoshop
• Working knowledge of Word, Excel and PowerPoint
• Proficiency using AI tools (such as ChatGPT, Claude, Adobe Firefly, Midjourney, or Photoshop Generative Fill) to speed up workflows, generate concepts, and enhance design work
• Experience creating artwork for production and/or creating mockup samples/prototypes from scratch.
• Thorough experience working with Mac computers
• Experience in product photography and photo retouching
• A collaborative team player who welcomes feedback and works effectively under time constraints to meet deadlines
• Self-motivated, works well independently and detail-oriented with impeccable organization skills

Key Responsibilities / Performance Requirements:

• Design for a multitude of projects such as: private labels, products, packaging, print advertisements, manuals, booklets, etc.
• Create and develop designs that are visually appealing and meet criteria of target audience and communicate consistency in tone, graphics, content and readability across materials
• Create artwork for mock-ups/prototypes for proofing purposes and approvals
• Ensure a creative, yet consistent, look and feel that adheres to company or client brand, visual identity and legal guidelines
• Monitor, revise and make proper recommendations to ensure creative work meets highest level of artistic professionalism before being sent to potential customers
• Adhere to mechanical quality standards, proofing, and sign-off procedures to ensure error-free deliverables
• Maintain extensive design elements library and ensure that staff is able to use in the most efficient manner
• Effectively manage multiple projects / tasks and deliver completed designs on time
• Work from conception to execution on creative and production design elements
• Bring strong design acumen and creative problem-solving skills
• Thrive in a deadline-driven environment with the ability to manage multiple, priority assignments simultaneously and consistently maintain on-time deliverables
• Maintain responsibility for projects from creative hand-off through final delivery
• Collaborate with other creative team members (designers, sales, marketing, project coordinators)
• Use AI tools to brainstorm concepts, create quick mock-ups, streamline repetitive production tasks, and improve efficiency, while ensuring all final work meets brand, licensing, and legal guidelines
