Night Shift Caregiver & Med Aide

Caregiver/Med Aide for Waters Edge Lodge

Waters Edge Lodge is looking for a Caregiver/Med Aide for the noc shift. Pay rate is $20.30 per hour until passing all Med Aide training and assuming Med shifts, then $23.80 per hour. The noc shift caregiving shift is 10:30pm-7am, Med shift is 11pm-7:30am.

The primary functions of on the noc shift are to:

• Assist frail elderly with activities of daily living (dressing, toileting, brief changes, showering, etc.)
• Administer medications
• Respond to residents' needs promptly
• React timely to resident pull cords/alerts

We are looking for a full time employee. Regular full-time schedule is 4-on, 2-off. On-call/PRN also available.

Minimum qualifications are:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of 12 months experience or equivalent education in the healthcare environment
• Ability to speak English clearly to elderly residents
• Ability to work patiently with cognitively impaired individuals

Employment requirements include:

• Current COVID19 vaccination
• Routine COVID tests
• Physical
• TB test
• Fingerprint clearance from the FBI & Dept. of Justice
