Job Title

Registered Nurse – Emergency Room

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Days | Alternating 36/48-hour weeks | 12-hour shifts (6:45 AM – 7:15 PM) | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced, high-volume Emergency Room environment
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for emergency patients across varying acuity levels
• Work a rotating schedule of 36 and 48-hour weeks on day shifts
• Fulfill a minimum of 12 weekend shifts (Saturday or Sunday) per contract term
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure timely and effective patient outcomes

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum 1 year of experience in the Emergency Room setting
• Current ACLS certification
• Current BLS certification
• Current NIHSS certification
• Current PALS, TNCC, and ENPC certifications

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with Cerner electronic health records system
• Ability to thrive in a high-volume, fast-paced emergency care environment
