Barista Trainer

As a Barista Trainer, you will coached and developed new and existing partners by delivering hands‑on training, reinforcing standards, and promoting a culture of customer service excellence. I ensured team members were confident in beverage preparation, equipment operation, food safety, and store procedures while supporting daily café operations. Job Responsibilities Accurately operate a register/POS and handle cash and credit card transactions. Model professionalism, teamwork, and leadership while supporting daily operations in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. Trained, coached, and mentored new baristas on Starbucks beverage recipes, operational procedures, and company standards. Assist store leadership with onboarding new partners and evaluating training effectiveness to support successful integration Demonstrated proper preparation techniques for handcrafted coffee, espresso beverages, teas, and food items to ensure consistency and quality Ensured compliance with Starbucks policies, food safety regulations, sanitation standards, and workplace health and safety procedures. Greet and assist customers while anticipating their needs Prepares and serve food items in line with location standards Count, organize and balance cash drawer, fill out the cashier slip and make deposits Adheres to Aramark's cash handling policies and procedures Set up and breakdown coffee bar, stations or store including cleaning and sanitizing Assisted with inventory management, stocking, opening and closing procedures, cash handling, and maintaining a clean, organized, and efficient work environment. Qualifications Previous customer service experience preferred Previous cash handling experience preferred Previous experience as a barista preferred Basic math & counting skills required Must be able to work independently with limited supervision Must follow required dress code as assigned Able to read and communicate in English and able to follow recipes Complete Food Handling Certification as required This role may have physical demands including, but not limited to, lifting, bending, pushing, pulling and/or extended walking and standing. This role may also require uniforms and/or usage of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
