What You'll Do Manage and organize complex case files and large-scale document collections. Conduct legal, factual, and public records research to support litigation and client matters. Assist with all phases of discovery, including subpoenas, document productions, and record management. Analyze, summarize, and prepare legal and factual materials for attorney review. Perform cite-checking and Shepardizing to ensure accuracy and reliability of legal authorities. Assist with responding to public records requests, including reviewing responsive documents and preparing correspondence. Support attorneys with case strategy, trial preparation, and substantive legal projects. Coordinate multiple priorities and deadlines while maintaining a high level of accuracy and professionalism. Collaborate with attorneys and legal staff across a variety of sophisticated matters. What Makes Someone Successful in This Role Takes ownership and accountability from start to finish. Qualifications 5+ years of substantive paralegal experience supporting complex legal matters. Litigation experience strongly preferred. Experience in labor and employment law is a plus. Demonstrated ability to research unfamiliar legal issues and quickly learn new areas of law. Strong organizational, analytical, and case management skills. Experience with legal technology, eDiscovery platforms, and document management systems. Trial preparation experience is highly desirable. Certificate from an ABA-approved Paralegal Program. Compliance with California Business & Professions Code §6450. Desired Skills and Experience We are seeking a seasoned Paralegal with 5+ years of experience supporting complex litigation and other sophisticated legal matters. The ideal candidate has strong legal research and analytical skills, experience managing discovery, subpoenas, document productions, and large-scale records review, and the ability to balance multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment. Candidates should be highly organized, proactive, and comfortable taking ownership of projects from inception through completion. Experience with case management, trial preparation, cite-checking, public records requests, and eDiscovery platforms is highly valued. Successful candidates are intellectually curious, resourceful problem-solvers who communicate effectively with attorneys, clients, and stakeholders. Litigation experience is preferred, while experience in Labor & Employment law is a plus. A Paralegal Certificate from an ABA-approved program and strong technology proficiency are required.
