The posted compensation range of $15.00 - $20.12 /hour is a reasonable estimate that extends from the lowest to the highest pay CommonSpirit in good faith believes it might pay for this particular job, based on the circumstances at the time of posting. Job Summary and Responsibilities

Are you a compassionate and reliable individual with a patient-first mindset? We're seeking a Patient Transport Specialist to join our dynamic healthcare team!

In this vital role, you'll ensure safe and efficient transport of patients (in-patient and ER) to Radiology, playing a key part in their care journey.

You'll be responsible for:

• Safely transporting patients via stretcher, wheelchair, or walking.
• Thoroughly assessing patient ambulation abilities.
• Adhering strictly to all National Patient Safety Goals (patient ID, hand hygiene, etc.).
• Reporting any equipment issues promptly.
• Responding to calls and contributing to a smooth workflow.
• Utilizing incident reporting for any concerns.

Job Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent
• Demonstrated ability to set and maintain multiple priorities in an environment with shifting priorities, while providing accurate deliverables in a timely fashion
• Must be self-motivated, and able to take ownership of projects/assignments
• Must be a team player with excellent follow-up and customer service skills
• Strong interpersonal, verbal, and writing skills
• Interpersonal skills in dealing with guests and team members
