About the Position

Primary Care Nurse Practitioner

Location : Tampa, FL

Schedule : Vacation coverage starting September 22 to 23 with additional ongoing per diem dates. Clinic hours are 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM. Minimum availability is 2 shifts.

Position Overview

Provide outpatient primary care and geriatric focused coverage in a private practice setting serving a Medicare heavy patient base.

Clinical Scope

• Chronic disease management and medication management
• Sick visits, well visits, and physicals
• Review labs and diagnostic results
• Blood pressure and diabetes management
• Some telehealth follow up as needed

Patient Population

• Adult patients. Majority age 50 and up

Support

• Medical assistant, front office support, and practice administration onsite

Required Qualifications

• Active Florida nurse practitioner license
• Board certification
• DEA

Experience

• 5 years preferred

Credentialing and Onboarding

• Estimated onboarding timeline: less than 1 week
