Join us as a Senior Network Engineer at our Malvern site, where you will have the opportunity to work with cutting-edge technology in partnership with some of the most brilliant minds.The RoleAs a Senior Network Engineer, you will play a key role in the design, development and delivery of secure networking solutions supporting critical programmes and projects.Day-to-day, you'll provide technical leadership across network-focused activities, working with project teams and stakeholders to deliver secure, reliable and innovative networking capabilities. You'll contribute throughout the project lifecycle, from requirements gathering and solution design through to implementation and delivery.Your responsibilities will include:Providing technical leadership across networking projects and programmesSupporting the design, development and implementation of secure network solutionsProducing and maintaining network documentation, including design and configuration informationWorking with project managers, technical leads and stakeholders to deliver customer requirementsSupporting technical reviews, change management and configuration control activitiesActing as a networking subject matter expert, providing guidance to colleagues and project teamsEssential experience of the Senior Network Engineer: Strong networking experience gained within enterprise, defence or secure environmentsExperience supporting the design, implementation and troubleshooting of network infrastructureKnowledge of network technologies, routing, switching and associated networking principlesExperience working within project delivery environmentsAbility to engage effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholdersExperience providing technical leadership, guidance or mentoring to engineering teamsEssential qualifications for the Senior Network Engineer:CCNA, CCNP or equivalent networking qualification and experienceActive eDV clearanceWe value difference and we don’t have a fixed idea when it comes to background or education, provided you can show the required level of experience and willingness to learn then we would like to hear from you.This role is 37 hours per week based at our Malvern site with a minimum average site attendance of three days per week. The Malvern facility is noted for its work in electronic warfare, surveillance and complex system integration, contributing significantly to the UK’s defence capabilities. Developing technologies for military and civilian applications, including sensors, communications and cyber security.
