About the Role:

The Service Lane Attendant for Land Rover plays a critical role in delivering an exceptional customer experience by serving as the primary point of contact for clients arriving for vehicle service. This position ensures smooth and efficient service lane operations by coordinating vehicle intake, communicating service needs, and facilitating timely updates between customers and the service team. The attendant is responsible for maintaining a professional and welcoming environment that reflects the premium Land Rover brand standards. By accurately documenting vehicle conditions and service requests, the role supports the service department in delivering high-quality maintenance and repair work. Ultimately, the Service Lane Attendant contributes to customer satisfaction and loyalty by providing attentive, organized, and courteous service throughout the vehicle servicing process.

Minimum Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Previous experience in a customer service role, preferably in an automotive or dealership environment.
• Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance and service processes.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working with luxury automotive brands, especially Land Rover or similar.
• Familiarity with dealership management software and service scheduling systems.
• Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Professional appearance and demeanor consistent with premium brand standards.
• Additional certifications related to automotive service or customer service.

Responsibilities:

• Greet customers promptly and courteously upon arrival, ensuring a positive first impression.
• Assist customers in checking in their vehicles by accurately recording service requests and vehicle information.
• Coordinate with service technicians and advisors to schedule and prioritize vehicle maintenance and repairs.
• Provide customers with updates on service progress and estimated completion times.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the service lane area to uphold dealership standards.
• Manage keys and vehicle documentation securely and efficiently.
• Address customer inquiries and concerns professionally, escalating issues to management when necessary.
• Support the service team with administrative tasks such as data entry and service order preparation.

Skills:

The Service Lane Attendant utilizes strong communication skills daily to interact effectively with customers, service technicians, and management, ensuring clear and accurate information exchange.
