The Encompass Group is partnering with a rapidly growing private healthcare practice to hire a Controller who will act as a true right-hand to ownership, leading both financial performance and operational execution. This isn’t a back-office accounting role. It’s a hands-on, player-coach position for someone who can think strategically but is just as comfortable diving into the day-to-day. What you’ll be doing: Own the full financial picture including reporting, forecasting, and cash flow Build and improve timely, accurate reporting across multiple locations Use systems like athenahealth to analyze trends and help guide decisions Partner directly with ownership on growth strategy and key initiatives Drive operational improvements across clinics, patient access, and workflows Support and develop existing leadership, including a strong COO/VP-level partner Identify inefficiencies and put scalable processes in place Serve as a trusted advisor in both financial and operational decision-making What they’re looking for: 8–15+ years of experience in finance and/or operations leadership Background as a Controller, VP of Finance, or similar level role (healthcare preferred) Experience in multi-site environments, ideally within a healthcare or specialty practice setting Strong operational mindset with the ability to connect numbers to real business impact Comfortable in a fast-paced, build-as-you-go environment Someone who executes, not just strategizes #J-18808-Ljbffr
