Sr. Motion Designer

About the Role:

One of our technology clients is seeking a Senior Motion Designer to join the Brand Maker Studio team.

This role will drive the creation of high-impact motion design work that brings the company's brands, products, and stories to life across digital channels, including, social media, web, and video content.

The ideal candidate is a highly skilled visual storyteller with expertise in motion systems, animation, branding, and emerging technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create visually compelling motion graphics and animated content across social, web, and video platforms.

• Develop, define, and implement motion design systems across the company's portfolio of brands.

• Concept and execute innovative motion-driven storytelling for new products, features, and company initiatives.

• Lead high-priority motion design projects from concept through final delivery.

• Elevate the quality and craft of motion design across all brand touchpoints.

• Collaborate closely with creatives, marketers, producers, and cross-functional partners.

• Contribute to the growth and evolution of the team's creative culture.

• Create storyboards, animatics, mood boards, and visual presentations to communicate concepts and ideas.

Skills and Requirements

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Motion Design or equivalent experience.

• 8+ years of professional motion design experience.

• Strong portfolio showcasing critically acclaimed and commercially successful work.

• Experience working as a motion designer within agency, in-house, or freelance

environments.

• Expertise in:

o Motion graphics

o Animation systems

o Visual storytelling

o Branding and marketing design

• Highly proficient with:

o After Effects

o Cinema 4D

o Blender

• Experience building and maintaining scalable motion design systems.

• Ability to translate creative concepts into polished motion design deliverables.

• Strong presentation and stakeholder communication skills.

• Ability to manage multiple projects and competing priorities. Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience collaborating with hardware and product design teams.

• Experience with emerging technologies, including:

o AR/VR

o Artificial Intelligence (AI)

• Advanced expertise in motion graphics and animation.

• Experience working in Google Docs-driven project environments.
