Job Description: - Join a dynamic team at a renowned 250-bed Academic Community Hospital, serving the region for over 120 years. - Work in a vibrant Emergency Room with: - 31 beds and 2 triage rooms. - Patient ratios of 1:4 with potential adjustments for high-volume days. - Engage with a diverse patient population, serving all ages from pediatric to geriatric. - Enjoy a supportive and collaborative environment led by Ashlee Compton BSN, RN, Director of Emergency Services. - Experience the hospital’s commitment to making communities healthier, highlighted by designations such as: - The region's only designated Chest Pain Center. - Certified Advanced Primary Stroke Center. Position Details: - Role: Registered Nurse (RN) in the Emergency Department (ED). - Shift: 7A - 7P with rotating weekends as needed. - Guaranteed Weekly Hours: 36 hours - Orientation Dates: May 26, June 9 and 23, July 7 and 21, August 4 and 18, September 1, 15 and 29, October 13 and 27, November 10, December 8. - Required Experience: - 5 years in an Emergency Department. - ICU & ED experience considered. - Required Certifications: - ACLS, BLS, Handle with Care (available on-site), NIH, PALS or ENPC. - Facility Features: - Comprehensive surgical services. - 24-hour emergency services. - Advanced wound healing center and cardiac rehabilitation.
