Nuclear Medicine Technologist

Role Nuclear Medicine Technologist responsible for administering radiopharmaceuticals and radiation procedures for diagnostic and therapeutic purposes. Responsibilities Prepare, administer, and measure radioactive isotopes using specialized equipment. Perform screening procedures for diagnostic interpretation. Document all pertinent information related to radioactive materials and surveys. Obtain patient information and provide preparation instructions. Ensure procedure quality control and coordinate patient flow. Perform other related duties as assigned. Qualifications & Skills Diploma/certificate from an accredited Nuclear Medicine program (required). State Nuclear Medicine License (required in CA and HI). Certification by ARRT or NMTCB (required in CA and OR). Venipuncture certification (required in CA and HI). Knowledge of radiation safety, patient care, and procedure protocols. Key requirements Administer radioactive materials, perform diagnostic procedures, document accurately, and maintain high standards of safety and quality.
