Location: San Francisco or New York, on-site
Profile: Senior Consultant | C2
Skillset required:
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering (BSME) or similar
• 5 years primarily in consumer electronics and similar products
• Advanced solid/surface modeling, SolidWorks preferred
• DFM/DFA across injection molding, sheet metal stamping, machining, and casting
• Vendor-ready documentation: 3D CAD, 2D drawings, BOMs, assembly instructions
• Prototyping (3D printing, casting, rapid tooling) plus hands-on electronics/firmware prototyping
• Confident client-facing presentation and storytelling
Roles and Responsibilities:
• Owns mechanical engineering activities autonomously across interdisciplinary projects, from concept through design-for-manufacturability to production
• Leads client conversations within their domain, framing trade-offs to guide client choices
• Mentors junior engineers and contributes to the global engineering community of practice
• Opportunity to lead small project teams and contribute to business development (proposals, pitches)
