Nurse Practitioner

The flagship of the health system is a 350 bed full service medical center housing a complete complement of inpatient and outpatient services with the latest technology. Job Summary: The Nurse Practitioner is authorized to perform specific routine duties on a regular, repetitive basis. These duties may be performed without specific prior discussion with the supervising physician. The supervising physician or his/her alternate will be on site for review of findings and plan of treatment.

Minimum Requirements: Graduate of accredited school of nursing. Successful completion of an approved Nurse Practitioner program. Three years of professional nursing experience. Current licensure in the state of North Carolina. Cardiology experience a plus.
