40 Hour Pay Guarantee!! Auto Park Ford Sturgis is seeking a skilled and dedicated Certified Service Technician to join our team in Sturgis, MI. In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining vehicles to ensure they meet safety and quality standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background and a commitment to delivering excellent customer service.
Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostics and repairs on vehicle systems including engines, transmissions, brakes, and electrical components.
• Conduct routine maintenance services such as oil changes, tire rotations, and inspections.
• Use manufacturer service manuals, diagnostic tools, and software to troubleshoot vehicle issues.
• Communicate effectively with customers and service advisors to explain repair needs and costs.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment adhering to company policies and procedures.
• Stay current with automotive technology and continuing education requirements.

Requirements

• Certified Service Technician designation or equivalent certification.
• Proven experience in vehicle repair and maintenance, preferably with Ford vehicles.
• Strong diagnostic skills and mechanical aptitude.
• Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Valid driver's license and a reliable means of transportation.

Responsibilities

• Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership
• Test-drive vehicles, and test components and systems, using diagnostic tools and special service equipment
• Diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning, etc.
• Communicate directly with the Service Advisor so that customers can be informed if any additional service is needed. Providing an estimate of time needed for additional repairs
• Executing repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications
