Quality Inspector

Quality Inspector - Hampton, VA

Saxon is hiring a Quality Inspector for a 1st Shift opportunity in Hampton, Virginia. We are seeking local candidates with manufacturing inspection experience who are skilled in reading blueprints and using precision measuring tools.

Pay: $35.00/hour
Schedule: Monday-Friday | 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM

What You'll Do:

• Inspect raw materials, in-process parts, and finished products
• Read and interpret engineering blueprints
• Use calipers, micrometers, and other precision measuring equipment
• Complete inspection documentation and identify non-conforming materials
• Ensure products meet quality and customer specifications

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED
• 2+ years of Quality Inspection experience in a manufacturing environment
• Ability to read engineering drawings and blueprints
• Experience with calipers, micrometers, and other precision measuring tools
• Strong attention to detail and documentation skills

Preferred:

• Aerospace or manufacturing inspection experience
• First Article/First Piece Inspection experience

Requirements:

• Must be eligible to work in the U.S.
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screen
