Event Setup & Warehouse Associate

Location: Torrance, CA
Schedule: Full-time; typically, 8–12 hours per day, depending on event schedules

Job Summary

We are seeking a dependable and hardworking  Event Setup & Warehouse Associate to support event preparation, setup, breakdown, and warehouse operations in Torrance, California. This position is physically demanding and requires employees to be comfortable working on their feet for extended periods, performing heavy lifting, working outdoors in the sun and varying weather conditions, and completing warehouse duties.

The ideal candidate is reliable, safety-conscious, works well as part of a team, and is willing to work long shifts when required by event schedules.

Responsibilities

• Load, unload, move, and organize event equipment, supplies, tables, chairs, staging, and other materials.
• Perform heavy lifting and physical labor throughout the workday.
• Set up and break down event equipment at various event locations.
• Assist with transporting equipment between the warehouse, vehicles, and event sites.
• Work outdoors and in direct sunlight when setting up or breaking down events.
• Perform warehouse duties, including organizing, cleaning, inventorying, and storing equipment.
• Prepare equipment and supplies for upcoming events.
• Operate carts, dollies, hand trucks, and other basic material-handling equipment as needed.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse and work area.
• Follow company safety procedures and instructions from supervisors.
• Work efficiently as part of a team to meet event setup and breakdown deadlines.
• Perform other general labor and event-support duties as assigned.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift and carry heavy equipment and materials.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, push, pull, and lift for extended periods.
• Comfortable working outdoors in direct sunlight and varying weather conditions.
• Ability to work physically demanding shifts of approximately 8–12 hours per day .
• Ability to safely perform repetitive lifting and material-handling tasks.

Qualifications

• Reliable attendance and punctuality.
• Strong work ethic and positive attitude.
• Ability to follow directions and work independently or as part of a team.
• Previous event setup, warehouse, moving, construction, catering, or general labor experience is a plus.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and extended shifts when events require.
