What You'll Be Engaged In

• Performing thorough patient evaluations, requesting diagnostic tests, and developing customized care strategies
• Identifying and managing acute, episodic, or chronic diseases in collaboration with physicians or independently, depending on your credentials

Education and Experience Requirements

• Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
• Successful graduation from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program

Licensure and Certification Requirements

• Active Nurse Practitioner licensure in the state of California
• National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP or ANCC) or equivalent specialty certification
• Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) (or ability to obtain these certifications within 90 days)
